Dates: 1940 - In Dec.1942 Intake to HQ staff in Assam, then joined B troop, defending Vengeance dive bombers at Dohazari airfield, Bengal. We were a mobile unit and subsequent sites were; Coxs Bazaar. Chittagong and Calcutta Finally we moved to defend an airfield north of Calcutta where B29 super bombers were based. I returned from LIAP leave in 1944 to find my unitnow part of a Med. field regiment with 5.5 guns. Sorry that I am unable to remember any numbers.
